A family story
The beginnings.
Our story begins in the distant 1898 when Bartolomeo Marchisio, producer of carts and carriages for transport, specialized in sales for the French market. When his son took over in 1920, the company shifted towards hardware trade until 1963 when the heirs decided to move into the wine market, spotting a good opportunity in this flourishing market.
F.lli Marchisio & C. S.p.A. is born
This is how Fratelli Marchisio spa was born in Pieve di Teco in the Ligurian hinterland of Imperia, from the entrepreneurial spirit of its founders, Gilberto and Bartolomeo Marchisio. A terrible snowfall on February 17, 1967 put the company to the test, but we never gave up!
Stainless steel tanks
In a short time the company grew, always with great attention to technological innovations. In 1985, the old wooden and concrete tanks were abandoned and replaced with stainless steel to achieve high production levels and customers worldwide.
New facilities and worldwide expansion
The operational skills achieved and the expertise acquired in more than 50 years of activity allow us to create products that are exported worldwide. New production needs led, under the guidance of the new generation of owners Giacomo and Massimo Marchisio, to the relocation of the company to the new facility in the industrial area of Pieve di Teco, on a total of 25,000 square meters, more than 10,000 of which are dedicated to the production of the highest quality products, all rigorously designed and built in-house. The strong development of these years has also allowed Fratelli Marchisio & C. S.p.A. to expand further, broadening its scope of action.
INCON brand for IBC tanks
Examples include the recent development of increasingly complex beer tanks or the acquisition of the INCON brand, to open up to the production of palletized tanks. A further step forward was taken with the creation of a retail store to also satisfy small customers. This is why Fratelli Marchisio is able to cover almost 90% of the food and non-food market.
