Filters and filter cartridges

Flotation is a separation technique that takes advantage of specific gravity differences between solids e the liquid in which they are contained, taking them to the surface by means of special gases (air nitrogen) or floating agents (jellies, bentonite, etc). It is a procedure that allows the clarification of the must and is recommended for white and rosé musts. The advantages are: time and cost savings by limiting the use of the refrigerator, allowing the achievement of a product free from undesirable substances that can negatively affect fermentation; it renders the wine “stable” to be conserved or marketed, making it free of deposits and veiling.

I filtri housing permettono l’eliminazione di cellule di lieviti e batteri e particelle colloidali presenti nel vino: tutta l’operazione deve però venire eseguita prima dell’imbottigliamento per evitare la contaminazione. All’interno di questi filtri va posizionata una cartuccia particolare che permette la completa pulitura, sterilizzazione o brillantatura dei vini. L’attacco delle cartucce è di tipo a baionetta. A richiesta sono disponibili cartucce da 10/20/30” Filtrazione da 10 a 0.45 micron Microfiltri MF dotati delle seguenti caratteristiche tecniche: - Telaio in lamiera stampata; - Entrata ed uscita liquido: 1” 1/2 con curva; - N° 2 portagomma inox 19 mm con girello cromato; - Flangia di testa attacco 3” tri-clover con n°1 rubinetto e manometro; - Flangia di base attacco 3” tri-clover unipezzo tornito e lucidato; - Campana lucidata a specchio attacco inferiore e superiore 3” tri-clover; - Rubinetto a spillo per scarico non filtrato; - Pressione 4 BAR massimo.

The 60x60 cartridge filter is made entirely of stainless steel, is mounted on wheels, includes a stainless steel drip tray, and the filtration unit is closed by means of a central stainless steel screw. The plates are made of food-grade Polypropylene (600 x 600 mm) or Noryl, Moplen or Stainless Steel 316; it is fitted with pressure gauges, valves and liquid control specula.

The plate filters model SUPER 40x40 are built in stainless steel AISI 304 and equipped with plates in food-grade plastic material: Moplen in the standard version, or Noryl upon request, for special applications. They are designed to brighten and sterilise liquids of several natures as wine, sparkling wine, vinegar, products for herb processing, cosmetics, natural essences, liquors and olive oil. The filter is subdivided into three functional units: AISI 304 stainless steel frame fitted with 3 wheels, of which 1 swivel with brake; filtration unit with filtering plates in food-grade material; self-priming pump motor unit. A coaxial unit with impeller in natural non-toxic rubber, neoprene, nitrile, EPDM or silicone, can be installed under request. The pump can be equipped with a bypass for more uniform dispensing of the product.

The MINI filter consists of the special electric pump and a filtering system called system of liquid with pressed layers. This particular type of filtering allows the achievement of excellent purification levels of the beverages without changing the fundamental characteristics of the filtered liquid; therefore it specially preferred for domestic filtering, but also in the professional sector, for example wineries, pharmaceutical industries, laboratories, breweries; everywhere it is necessary to filter a beverage to be served later or to bottle it perfectly clear without any trace of inconvenient residues. It is specially indicated to filter wine, water, infusions, beer, pharmaceutical solutions, perfumes. Does not need any special maintenance, except a normal cleaning.
